Who We Are

WE ARE CHRISTIANS

We are parents and children and single people. We are mechanics and teachers and cleaners and office workers. We come from different places and speak different languages. But first and foremost we are all Christians. We are all sinners saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus has made us one with him and with fellow believers. We are united in Christ and dedicated to serving him as our Lord.

WE ARE LUTHERANS

The name "Lutheran" comes from the great reformer Martin Luther. In a period in history when the Church had lost sight of its Savior and the truth of his Word, Martin Luther boldly challenged these errors and preached Jesus Christ as Savior. Like Luther, we believe that the bible alone is our sure guide for faith and life. Click here to learn more about our beliefs.

We are also a member of a group of cooperating congregations called the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). Although the synod was founded in Wisconsin in 1858, we have over 1000 congregations in all 50 states and work together to do mission work in over 25 countries across the world. If you’d like to learn more about the WELS, click here.

WE ARE HERE FOR YOU

We are here to love you and care for you. We pray that we can offer you a Christian family filled with people who cry with you when you are crying and rejoice with you when you are rejoicing. If you have any needs – from food and clothing to friends and advice - then we are here to help.

The most important way we can serve you is by sharing the message of Jesus with you. In Jesus, you find real peace in life’s problems and sure hope of life everlasting. In Jesus, you find love that never disappoints, joy that cannot be taken away, and a friend that never fails. We’d love to share all this with you. Visit us soon!
